Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Voxoro mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Voxoro, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Voxoro ("we," "our," or "us") is a voice-first personal finance and expense tracking service. The Service may also be referred to in some legacy materials as "Teller."

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

  • You are legally able to enter into a binding agreement
  • You comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
  • You are at least 13 years old, or older if required by the laws where you live

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. The Service

Voxoro helps you record transactions, organize spending data, view financial summaries, and interact with AI-powered features such as transcription, transaction parsing, and financial chat assistance.

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also add or remove features, including subscription features, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Local Data and Your Responsibility

Voxoro is designed to store core transaction data locally on your device unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of the transactions you enter or approve
  • Reviewing AI-generated results before relying on them
  • Maintaining access to your device and any backups you create

If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose access to your device, locally stored data may be lost.

5. AI Features and No Financial Advice

The Service may use third-party AI systems to transcribe speech, parse transactions, and generate financial insights or chat responses.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading
  • AI-generated summaries and recommendations are provided for general informational purposes only
  • Voxoro does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service
  • Abuse rate limits, automated systems, or access controls
  • Upload or submit malicious code, harmful content, or content you do not have the right to use
  • Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure or third-party providers

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or creates risk for the Service or other users.

7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Premium Features

Some features may require a paid subscription, including Voxoro Premium.

7.1 Subscription Products

Subscription products may include monthly and yearly plans, or other offerings we make available from time to time.

7.2 Billing

If you purchase a subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • Billing is handled by the applicable app store
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal
  • Pricing, taxes, billing terms, and refunds are governed by the applicable store's policies

7.3 Managing and Restoring Purchases

You may be able to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, or review active entitlements through the Service, RevenueCat Customer Center, or the relevant app store account settings.

7.4 Changes to Pricing

We may change pricing, packaging, or feature availability for future billing periods where permitted by law. Store operators may also apply their own billing rules and notices.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure and tools, including app stores, analytics providers, AI providers, and notification platforms. Your use of certain parts of the Service may also be subject to those third parties' terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, content, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free
  • AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for your needs
  • The Service will meet your expectations or requirements

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Voxoro and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Where applicable law does not allow certain limitations, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree, to the extent permitted by law, to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Voxoro and its affiliates, personnel, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law or the rights of another person

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • Your use creates legal, security, or operational risk

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related provisions.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If required by law, we will provide additional notice.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
